I am married and my wife is also from this village (Tasi Fatin).  I have 4 children, the oldest is 9 years old, the youngest is a baby.

The thing that I like about this place is that everything grows in abundance.  Coffee grows really well.  I want to be able to sell my coffee in Dili but there is no transportation.  The roads are very bad.

For the future I want better roads and a car to make business.

In the wet season we must walk to Somoro, it is a 4 hour walk.

When asked: What do sick people do when they need to see a doctor?  Domingos answered ‘If they are too sick to walk they must wait here to die.  Many do die.  One person died about 2 weeks ago. ‘  I asked do many babies die, he answered ‘Some do but not many’.

What do you want most for your village?  I want to help progress the village, I want a chapel, a clinic and a better school.

When I asked about the Australian groups coming to Tasi Fatin he said.  ‘I am very happy with Ms Tamara’s group coming to our village because they help us and support us.  I don’t want other people coming, they do not help.
